Your minicabs must be pre-booked or use a taxi rank otherwise they could be unlicensed which is illegal and could be dangerous. So remember:
- Always use a licensed taxi or minicab and check their license before you get in.
- Try to book in advance rather than jumping in a taxi on the street, its just more safe.
- When ordering a cab in
public don’t shout out all your details like name and address just wait until you get in, you never know who’s listening.
- Confirm the drivers details when they arrive, just to make sure it’s the cab you ordered.
- Its always best to share a taxi with a friend.
- When on your own in a taxi sit in the back and don’t give away any personal details.
