Fireworks - be safe not sorry

Always follow the fireworks safety code

Last year in Great Britain in a 4 week period around 5th November, 1160 people were injured as a result of fireworks. Rockets & sparklers were the main cause of injuries.

Did you know that?

... 644 of the people injured were under 20 years old

The Fireworks Safety Code

  • light sparklers one at a time and wear gloves
  • never give sparklers to a child under five
  • keep pets indoors
