Vinvolved-eastsussex is part of the national government V programme which promotes volunteering to all young people aged 16–25 across East Sussex.
We would like to expand our services and meet new groups in the Wealden area.
Our roles are to
- Recruit young people and match them to a suitable volunteering opportunity.
- Locate good quality volunteering placements for young people
- Advise and support young people on their options regarding volunteering and promoting the nationally recognised vAwards. We would also like to hear from young people that are already volunteering as the Awards are for them too.
- Work with groups of young people to create community changing projects. Youth led volunteering is one of our prime objectives.
- Liaise with organisations who work with young people to enhance fully their volunteering experience.
- Advise placements on issues around youth volunteering
