Making a positive contribution

This page has lots of ideas for funding and grants that are available for young people. Maybe you have an idea for a project involving your community or maybe you want to turn an interest into reality, read on for more info…..

Grants for young people - YouthBank

YouthBanks are run by young people for young people. If you've got a good idea for a project which could benefit young people or your local community, YouthBanks can give you a grant to help you make it happen. YouthBank is a national scheme, and there's a local YouthBank in East Sussex.

Anyone aged between 13 and 19 can apply, but your group can be aged up to 25 if you have special needs. Grant ideas and applications must come directly from a young person. Grants are not given to individuals but to groups of young people.

For more information and to download the application visit the website.
