Every year the last week in June, Wealden co-ordinates a 'hands on' safety teaching event for over 600 children. It is a joint initiative and our partners include the Police, Fire and Ambulance service. Each year we create a report (pdf) showing feedback from children, staff and teachers.
We are looking for young people to volunteer to help with the project. Tasks could include-
- acting as an accident casualty
- acting as a fire setter
- giving children refreshments
