BIG LOTTERY PROGRAMMES

This Fund exists to promote the wellbeing and development of young people in areas such as: enjoying good physical and mental health; staying safe; developing skills for adulthood; making a positive contribution to society; and overcoming disadvantage.  Different programmes and strands are available in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland  Visit BLF. FAMILY LEARNING

Grants from £10,000 to £500,000 to encourage adults and children to learn as a family.  Projects must meet all delivery targets and application is open to registered charities; voluntary or community groups; statutory bodies, including schools and children’s centres; charitable or not-for-profit company; social enterprise or private sector organisation.  Find out more

HAPPY DAYS CHILDREN CHARITY

Funds holidays and outings for children and young people from three to 17 with special needs, victims of abuse, neglect or domestic violence, bereavement, or who have a caring role for other family members.   Rolling application programme.  Visit Happy Days Children’s Charity. Find out more

PETER HARRISON FOUNDATION

Two programmes that support projects that assist disabled, disadvantaged and young people.  Priority is given to UK projects in the field of sport and education for the 'Opportunities Through Sport Programme'.  The 'Special Needs and Care Programme for Children and Young People' supports charities in the South East of England. Grants from £500 for imaginative and innovative projects, which promote the development of young children in the UK and throughout the world.  Rolling application programme for registered charities.  Find out more

OTHER FUNDERS THAT WILL FUND YOUTH PROJECTS

AWARDS FOR ALL

Lottery grant scheme that funds small community projects with grants from £300 to £10,000. Open to non-profit making groups, charities, schools, parish and town councils and health bodies. Find out more

PCT SMALL GRANTS SCHEME

The Health Improvement small grants programme offers voluntary groups in Wealden District access to grants of up to £500.  The focus is supporting health and social inclusion projects, especially activities and projects that promote good health and well-being.
